I am a multidisciplinary art director, designer and display developer. My passion for all mediums keeps me involved in a range of projects including brand development, digital design, environmental graphics, print, product, and textiles. Specialties include Art and Direction, Branding and Identity, Graphic Design, Photography Styling, User Experience and User Interface. I am passionate about applying artistry and craftsmanship to strategic insight to create and bring to life beautiful ideas that move our client. I pursue designs that are environmentally sustainable and productive.

As the Senior Manager of Store Creative for Sephora,  I drove the design and execution of the Sephora Collection in-store displays. This includes face and body products. Most recently, I designed the Cream Lip Stain fixture that grossed over $1million in sales in one month far exceeding the plan of $500k. My role Involves extensive interaction with Marketing, Merchants, Production, Visual Operations and Vendors. I procure and negotiate materials for projects as well as communicate with the engineers using 3D mechanical drawings. At QOR, I directed photoshoots for the catalog including product lay downs and on-body studio photography. I produced a cohesive design directive for the website, catalog and social media projects. At Athleta, I led the visual design of merchandise placement, which led to smarter buying and better inventory flow. I was responsible for selecting the colors for each capsule collection ensuring a cohesive overall aesthetic for each season. Prior to Athleta, I was with Gap, where I designed the display for the Gap Outlet Men’s line and redesigned the visual communication books. While with Anthropologie, I was the lead visual manager of home goods and apparel at the SF flagship store directing window displays, signage and art installations.

Below is a photo of Emma. In my eyes, the sun rises and sets on her wrinkled face. She is a 130lbs of love and drools. My husband and I take our big bundle of a slobbery love of a Bullmastiff out for daily walks, frequent trips to Tahoe and to our local brew pub. Emma Believes everyone loves her, despite her size. She even helped an Athleta co-worker get over her fear of dogs. She's unrelenting when it comes to getting a hug.

Currently, I commute between San Francisco and Marin County…and somewhere in between comes cycling, piano practice, figure drawing, textile printing and making random things for friends and family.

Interesting fact: My Director at Athleta had a knack for naming each person's Spirit Animal. My spirit animal was dubbed an Elf. (Honestly, I wanted to be an eagle or a swan....something graceful and elegant) But it's true, I'm an elf. I love to delight and astound people with thoughtfully designed gifts and surprise team events. It brings me joy!

We moved to Fairfax, California a town of 7,000 residents because of the incredible cycling available right outside our front door. Fairfax is said to be the birthplace of Mountain Biking. There are great trails and lots of Poison Oak. Although I'm a bit of newbie on the mountain bike, my favorite way to start the morning is on my road bike. Below is shot from the front of the Levi Leipheimer's GranFondo.

Thank you for reading more about me. When I read the "about" pages for brands and companies I admire, I feel like I get to know them. It inspires me to do my best and develop work that would captivate them and their entrepreneurial spirit. But it also felt one sided. I believe if you’re interested in asking me to join your team, you should get to know me a bit first. I'd love to hear more about your brand and what I can do for you! Please drop me a line and let's grab a coffee.
